With a strong architectural influence, Denise Queieroz’s collections showcase pure lines and contrasts of textures and materials.
After graduating in Architecture (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, 1985), Queiroz experienced several years in the architectural field. However, having participated in a sculpture course with João Carlos Goldberg, her passion for art and design increased and she attended the Jewellery design course at Senac in 2008.
Since then, Queiroz has participated in various exhibitions such as, “Joia Brasil” (2008), “Alquimia Urbana” (SENAC Rio Fashion Business, 2011), and “Rio + Design” (2012 e 2014), “Joia Literária” (Paraty, 2010) She has also showcased her work internationally at “Joalheria Brasileira” (Berlim, 2011) and “Fresh from Brasil “ (Nova Iorque, 2012). Her work has appeared in the publications “A Joia do Rio” Marcos Vianna and Regina Machado and "New Earrings" Nicolas Estrad.
